Plastic Surgery is more than Cosmetic Enhancement.
We ventured out to Hyden this year. Lions provide an excellent mobile facility which Mr Turner utilised over the course of the day to check the locals’ skins for dangerous spots and moles. Transport was supplied through the Perth Royal Aero Club who flew us out to Hyden in one of their 4 seater planes. Lions Clinics are fully staffed by volunteers, and on this occasion, as for most, it means a very early start on Saturday morning in order to reach the destination in time for set up and first appointments. Clinics are provided free of charge to the local communities and anyone else in the area who would like to have their skin checked on the day.
Hyden’s famous for its rock and we were lucky enough to pay a quick visit to Wave Rock on our departure. Mr Turner is ‘Surfing the Rock’ in our postcard moment on this page. Our pilot treated us to a loop around Wave Rock and it’s as impressive from the air as it is at ground level.
