Mr Turner is a co-founder and original organiser of the Lions Skin Cancer Screening Clinics which provide a free of charge skin cancer screening service to isolated farming and rural Western Australian communities. Mr Turner has volunteered his time to these clinics since their inauguration in 1989.

Mr Turner has been in private practice since 1973. His rooms are located at 35 Colin St, West Perth where Mr Turner consults and attends day surgery. Mr Turner has been a consultant plastic surgeon to Royal Perth Hospital since 1973.

Mr. Turner attends conferences nationally and internationally to observe current trends in cosmetic and plastic surgery and has extensive experience in a full range of cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures.
